“Performing in the community is a big passion of mine. Alongside my professional career as a cabaret artist I provide affordable entertainment for non-profit groups, residential homes and care facilities without compromising the quality. I am an experienced group singing facilitator, creative thinker and people person and aim to be a little ray of sunshine in music and song.”
2018: I am now playing and loving the lever harp which is well known for its music therapy properties. I am volunteering at the local St. Wilfred’s Hospice once a month and have also volunteered at Chaseley Trust. I play flute, harp and sing mostly in folk and Celtic style.
“My husband, Neil, has become very withdrawn since developing Alzheimers, and after being unsure at first, now enjoys the singing sessions. He responds to the singing and now joins in, which is very good for him. You and your husband create a lovely atmosphere, involving everyone, and the simple musical instruments are a big hit. We look forward to becoming regulars at these enjoyable sessions. Many thanks.” Margaret, Memory Lane, Eastbourne.
