“Performing in the community is a big passion of mine. Alongside my professional career as a cabaret artist I provide affordable entertainment for non-profit groups, residential homes and care facilities without compromising the quality. I am an experienced group singing leader, creative thinker and people person and aim to be a ray of sunshine in music and song. I am employed by Memory Lane of Eastbourne, a dementia support charity, to lead their popular singing groups, I am also a regular performer at Blind Veterans in Ovingdean and Chaseley Trust in Eastbourne”
Forget-Me-Not is a specialist in the vintage popular song repertoire of the 20th century (1900-1980s) and tailors her outfits accordingly. She is totally self-contained with a portable amplifier and uses only quality backing tracks, or is accompanied by her husband using onsite piano or their own portable keyboard.
“My husband, Neil, has become very withdrawn since developing Alzheimers, and after being unsure at first, now enjoys the singing sessions. He responds to the singing and now joins in, which is very good for him. You and your husband create a lovely atmosphere, involving everyone, and the simple musical instruments are a big hit. We look forward to becoming regulars at these enjoyable sessions. Many thanks.” Margaret, Memory Lane, Eastbourne.

“I just wanted to say a big thank you. Our residents really enjoyed the music and I was struck how calm it was in the room and you had such a great interaction with our residents. A lovely afternoon.” Teresa Boyl, Activities Coordinator, The Chaseley Trust, Eastbourne.
New for 2019
Harping on with Forget-Me-Not
“January 2017 I took up the lever harp and am extremely excited to bring this wonderful instrument to my community practice. Harps are magical instruments and are renowned for their calming and healing quality. As I am still very much a student I am delighted to offer for this year only a reduced hourly rate. During my ‘Harping on with Forget-Me-Not’ I will play solos, accompany myself as I sing and share some fascinating harp history. I mainly play/sing folk, Celtic, ancient tunes and my own compositions.”
